Special thanks to Cherry Howard who composed this article on behalf of The Norfolk Terrier Club of Great Britain

Ch Kinsridge Top Tip is the last born offspring of Am Ch Kinsridge Hot Tip.  This bitch had four litters in four years; in October 2010 she bred Ch Kinsridge Top Score (7CCs including Crufts) by Ch Kinsridge Top Gun, and then travelled across to the USA with Peter Green to join the Yarrow-Venerie team of Beth Sweigart and Pam Beale.  During this time she became an American champion but also produced a red daughter, Am Ch Yarrow Venerie Tip The Scale and a black and tan son, Am GCh Yarrow Venerie Ticket To Ride, by Ch & Am GCh Cause For Celebration, who is a son of the Crufts Best In Show winner, Ch Cracknor Cause Celebre, (Coco).  He was Top Dog in the USA, winning the group at Westminster among many other wins.  Coco was also a half-sister of the previous record holder Elisabeth Matell’s Ch Cracknor Call My Bluff who won 26 CCs, they were both out of Hatchwoods Madrigal.

Am Ch Kinsridge Hot Tip then returned to England, again carefully brought over by Peter Green, in whelp again to Ch Am GCh Cause For Celebration.   Three dog puppies were born, including Ch Kinsridge Cash Back and Swe/Nor Ch Kinsridge Quids In.    For her last litter, Gina had a repeat mating to Ch Kinsridge Top Gun, only one bitch, but what a bitch from her swansong.

Martha was born on 5th October 2013, and made her debut at National Terrier at six months, where she was 2nd in the minor puppy bitch class.   She went to 11 shows as a puppy, placed in the early shows, but as she grew so did her record improve, first in minor puppy bitch at Windsor, then as she slowly matured, she was 1st in Puppy Bitch at Bournemouth, WKC and Richmond completing her run with the Best Puppy and the RCC at Darlington under Mr Paul Eardley.

From then on as a Junior Bitch she continued to rise, winning her first CC at SWKA from Mr Andrew Hunt – her half- brother Ch Kinsridge Cash Back was Best of Breed.  Mr Andrew Brace gave her the BCC at Midland Counties, and she was BRCC at the LKA in December.  From Crufts 2015 onwards it was a triumphant procession, as the list shows, and she is now the top winning Norfolk Terrier of all time with 30CCs won over these three years.

None of this of course would have happened without her Breeder, Owner, Exhibitor and groomer, Diane Jenkins.  Think of the hours it has taken to keep her to top condition in perfect coat week after week – without any help from anyone else.  Norfolk coats are continually growing and it needs constant loving care and attention.   Together they are an amazing partnership.
